Diesel Delivery and Fuel Storage in Salisbury
Fuel It supplies bulk diesel and on-site fuel storage across Salisbury and the surrounding southern Brisbane industrial belt. It is a dense pocket of transport yards, engineering workshops and civil depots, and most of them share the same problem: fleets that come home every night and burn working hours going out for fuel.
A job we did here
Total Civil and Haulage run a truck fleet out of their Salisbury yard. Every one of them needed to leave full each morning, and every trip to a service station was costing retail fuel prices plus driver hours.
We built and installed a custom 30,000 litre self bunded diesel tank with a safe fill of 29,350 litres, and specified a solar powered dispensing system so it needs no mains power at all. Because most 12V pumps carry a 30 minute duty cycle, we fitted two 12V pump kits rather than one, so the whole fleet can be refuelled back to back without waiting for a pump to cool. A 240V inlet lets the battery pack be charged from mains through an extended wet spell.
